The Association of Physicians of India (API) – Sikkim State Chapter is a professional body of physicians committed to advancing medical knowledge, fostering collaboration, and addressing the unique healthcare challenges of the Himalayan state. Since its inception, the chapter has emerged as a hub of academic excellence, community service, and professional development.

The API Sikkim State Chapter was formally inaugurated on March 25th, 2023, at Hotel Sinclairs, Gangtok. This landmark event brought together distinguished medical professionals, setting the stage for a new era of medical excellence in the region.

The chapter was officially launched in the presence of esteemed guests including Dr. Jyotirmoy Pal (Dean, ICP) and Dr. Nandini Chatterjee (Professor of Medicine, IPGMER Kolkata).
